Islamic literature gives guidelines for social reforms: Religious Adviser

DHAKA, March 15, 2025 (BSS) - Religious Affairs Adviser Professor Dr AFM Khalid Hossain today said Islamic literature used to provide guidelines for social reforms.

He said this while uncovering two books and attending an Ifter Mahfil organised by Saliha Publications at Jatiya Press Club (JPC) in the capital.

Stressing the importance of conducting daily life in light of the Holy Quran and Hadith, Khalid Hossain said, “We must illuminate our family life and social life together through these,”

The religious advisor said there are 64,000 Imams in Bangladesh who have received training from the Imam Academy. We want to honor those who have written or translated basic books on the ‘Serate Rasul’ (PBUH) with awards."

Saliha Publications President Md Humayun Kabir Chowdhury presided over the function.

Later, the adviser uncovered a religious book and his own book named ‘Dr AFM Khalid Rachona Samogra’.
