Air Chief off to USA on official visit

DHAKA, Mar 16, 2025 (BSS) - Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan left Dhaka for the United States of America (USA) on Saturday.

“Chief of Air Staff of Bangladesh Air Force left Dhaka on Saturday and will visit USA from March 17-18. He will return home on March 21,” said a release of the Directorate of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) this evening.

During the visit, the Air Chief will discuss the activities of Bangladesh Air Force units deployed in peacekeeping missions and related matters to enhance the coordination and cooperation of Bangladesh Air Force with the United Nations, while also meeting with High Officials of the United Nations Headquarters to discuss the ways to enhance BAF’s contributions to the UN in the future.

The visit of Chief of Air Staff will play a vital role for strengthening the bilateral relationship and enhance the scope of mutual cooperation in the professional sectors between Bangladesh and the United Nations, it said.
