DHAKA, March 16, 2025 (BSS) – Chief Adviser’s press wing today termed the reports that the parade marking the Independence Day (March 26) will not be held this year as untrue.

Due to the ongoing renovation work of the National Stadium, it is not possible to organize the parade in Dhaka this year like in the past few years, it said.

However, the interim government has decided to organize the parade with due dignity in the remaining 63 districts of the country side by side giving reception to the brave freedom fighters.

Instructions have been given to all the deputy commissioners to take necessary steps in this regard, it added.
