BOGURA, April 14, 2025 (BSS) - An elderly man was killed in a road accident near Fulbari Azizul Haque College crossing here in the district town last night.

The deceased was identified as Iqbal Hossain Jewel, 63, a resident of Brindabanpara area of the town.

The accident occurred when a speedy motorbike hit a bicycle from behind, leaving its rider Iqbal critically injured, said Fulbari police outpost in-charge inspector Almas Ali Sarkar.

He was taken to a local hospital where on-duty doctor declared him dead.
