1,348 absent in second SSC, equivalent exams in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM, April 15, 2025 (BSS) - A total of 1,348 students were absent on the second day of the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations under the Chattogram Education Board (CEB).

Besides, one examinee from Chakaria upazila in Cox's Bazar was expelled for adopting unfair means.

Out of 129,199 registered candidates from 1,125 high schools, 127,851 students took part in the exam at 219 centers.

The English First Paper examination was held peacefully today across five districts under the board's jurisdiction.

"Today's exam was held without any disruptions. We hope the upcoming exams will also continue in a peaceful environment," CEB exam controller Prof. Parvej Sazzad Chowdhury told BSS.
