DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - The admission test (MCQ part) of the Faculty of Business Studies (FBS) for 2024-25 academic sessions will be held on May 17.

The MCQ test will be held from 3 pm to 3:45 pm on May 17.

This decision was made at a meeting of the General Admission Committee of Dhaka University today.

“Students with science and humanities background of this unit will not have to sit for this test as the results of these admission seekers will be published at 11am tomorrow,” a DU press release said, adding, “Students having science and arts background in HSC who passed the test for admission to FBS unit will be able to fill their detailed forms and subject choices until April 19.”

The admission test for FBS unit was held on February 8. However, there was a discrepancy in the set of 12 questions in the multiple-choice section of the question paper. Although the DU administration was informed to take action in this regard, they delayed, and finally the admission-seekers went to the High Court seeking steps to cancel the exam, but the court stayed the publication of the results.

Later, the university authorities filed an application in the court seeking permission to take the test again.

On April 13, the High Court granted the university’s appeal to conduct MCQ test again.
