DHAKA, April 16, 2025 (BSS) - A delegation of Power-China Limited met with Dhaka University (DU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan at his office in DU campus here today.

During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest, said a press release.

VC Dr Niaz Ahmed Khan said, "Our resources are limited. We cannot provide adequate facilities to the teachers and students. There is a shortage of residential halls, medical centers, and modern equipment for research, especially for students. We are trying to make the best use of limited resources."

The authorities of Power-China Resources Limited expressed their interest in investing in various sectors of DU. The Vice-Chancellor welcomed the interest of Power-China Resources Limited to invest in DU, the release added.

Power-China Resources Limited Executive Vice President San Shuhua, Barishal Electric Power Company Limited CEO Chen Sujian, Power-China Project Support Department General Manager Liu Zhengyun, Deputy General Manager Ju Yean, Manager Wang Rui and investment consultant Advocate Humayun Kabir were present during the meeting.
