KU admission tests for ‘C’ & ‘D’ units held

KHULNA, April 17, 2025 (BSS) -The admission tests for the first year of undergraduate/honours under the 2024–25 academic session at Khulna University (KU) began  with the exams for the ‘C’ and ‘D’ units on the first day.
 
According to a KU press release issued by the Public Relations and Publications Division of KU, the admission test for the ‘C’ unit under the Schools of Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Law, Education, and Fine Arts was held simultaneously on the Khulna University campus and several other centers in Khulna from 10 am to 12 pm today.
 
The other Khulna centers were Deldar Ahmed Government Secondary School, Hope Polytechnic Institute, Reverend Paul’s High School, KCC Women’s College, Government Women’s College, and two external centers are Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) and Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET).
 
A total of 11,027 candidates appeared at the exam centres while 13,312 were registered at KU and other local centers.
 
Meanwhile, 7,295 out of 11,381 candidates attended the BUET center, while 5,861 out of 7,551 candidates were present at the RUET center. Out of a total of 32,244 candidates for the ‘C’ unit, a total of 24,183 were present.
 
In addition, a special drawing test for Fine Arts applicants was held from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm.
 
During the examinations, KU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Rezaul Karim, Pro Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Harunur Rashid Khan, Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Nurunnabi, Acting Registrar Professor Dr. S. M. Mahbubur Rahman, and Director of Student Affairs Professor Dr. Md. Nazmus Sadat visited the control rooms and exam halls at the university and local centers.
 
Later, the admission test for the ‘D’ unit for the School of Management and Business Administration was held at the Khulna University center from 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm. A total of 2,430 candidates appeared at the exam centers out of 4,154 registered candidates.
