Dry weather with temporary partly cloudy sky likely

DHAKA, April 22, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) forecasted today weather may remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy sky elsewhere over the country for next 120 hours commencing from 09 am.

"Day and night temperature may rise slightly over the country," said Meteorologist Shaheenul Islam of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD).

It predicted that rain or thunder showers with lightning flashes and temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh or Sylhet divisions and at one or two places over Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Chattogram divisions.

The rainfall activity may increase and temperature may fall, according to Met office's outlook for next five days.

Today's sunset at Dhaka would be at 06:23 pm while tomorrow's sunrise here would be at 05:31 am.
                                                                                          
The Met office recorded maximum temperature of yesterday (Monday) as 35.5 degrees Celsius at Rajshahi of Rajshahi division while minimum temperature recorded as 21.2 degrees Celsius at Bandarban in Chattogram division, added the BMD release.
