Turkish Ambassador meets Information Adviser

DHAKA, April 30, 2025 (BSS) - Turkish Ambassador to Bangladesh Ramis Sen called on Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Mahfuj Alam at his office here today.

During the meeting, discussions were held on developing relations between Bangladesh Betar, Bangladesh Television (BTV) and Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) and Turkish Radio, Television and Anadolu Agency, a ministry press release said.

At the meeting, Ambassador Ramis Sen expressed his interest in developing economic and commercial relations between Bangladesh and Turkiye.

Adviser Mahfuj Alam said that several new areas of development of relations with Turkiye have been created.

Bangladesh is interested in energizing the field of cooperation with Turkiye, he added.

Several issues of mutual interest between the two countries were discussed during the meeting.

Counselor of the Turkish Embassy Bora Tasdelen was present during the meeting.
