DHAKA, May 08, 2025 (BSS) - The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) today launched drives at three government offices in the capital following allegations of harassment and corruption.

Md Akhtarul Islam, Deputy Director of the ACC's Public Relations Division, said the ACC's Enforcement Unit carried out the operations as part of an ongoing anti-graft campaign.

One of the drives was conducted at the offices of the National Housing Authority in response to allegations of irregularities and corruption in flat allocations.

Another raid was carried out at the Non-Government Teacher Employee Retirement Benefit Board at the Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS), where some officials and staff are accused of harassing retired teachers and employees.

The third raid was carried out at the headquarters of the Agricultural Research Foundation as officials of the entity are accused of embezzling public funds by creating fake projects.
