Govt is determined to continue development efforts: Supradip

RANGAMATI, May 9, 2025 (BSS) - Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Affairs Adviser Supradip Chakma today said that the government is determined to continue development efforts across the country.

"The government is committed to continuing development work and protecting the country's resources," he said in a religious ceremony of Baisakhi Purnima at the Rajban Bihar Complex building in the district town as the chief guest.

"The government wants to change the fate of the people by creating job opportunities," he said.

Verses of Tripitaka were recited in the ceremony, while the life and works of Buddha were also discussed.

The monks of Rajban Bihar, Saurajagat Bhante, Mangala Tishya, Dipavansha Bhante, Dhamanu Bhante, and Maga Layan Bhante also spoke at the event.
