DHAKA, May 12, 2025 (BSS) - In the nationwide ongoing crackdown on criminals and troublemakers to uphold the law and order, 1665 more individuals were arrested in the last 24 hours. 

     Among them, 972 persons are detained in connection with previous cases or based on outstanding warrants while remaining 693 on various criminal charges.

     Three single barrel guns, one short gun, two LGs, seven bullets, four knives, several sharp weapons including three Burmese knives and two Chinese axes were also seized.

     A total of 29,207 more crime suspects were arrested in 20 days, since the nationwide operation began afresh.
