ACC Chairman for curbing misuse in public expenditure

DHAKA, May 12, 2025 (BSS) – Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) Chairman Dr Mohammad Abdul Momen today put emphasis on curbing misuse in public expenditure.

The ACC Chairman put such emphasis while inaugurating a training programme on Public Procurement Act and Rules held at the Engineering Staff College of Bangladesh (ESCB), held on its main campus at Gazaria in Munshiganj.

ACC Director General (training and ICT) Abdullah Al Zahid, ESCB Rector Engineer Md Ashraful Alam, IEB Vice President (HRD) and Member, BOG (ESCB) Engineer Sheikh Al Amin were present, among others, on the occasion, said a press release.

A total of 30 officials of the ACC took part in the training where the role of the officials in government procurement process was discussed.

ACC Director General Abdullah Al Zahid said that such training should be utilized in all spheres of work.

ESCB procurement unit chief and faculty trainer Dr Touhid Hasan moderated the inaugural function.
