National Pension Authority signs MoUs with 12 banks

DHAKA, May 15, 2025 (BSS) - The National Pension Authority has signed Memorandum of Understandings (MoUs) with 12 banks to realize the registration and subscription fees against the various universal pension schemes.

With this fresh signing, the National Pension Authority has so far signed MoUs with a total of 24 banks.

In continuation of this, such MoUs would be signed gradually with all the local banks, said a press release.

Finance Division Secretary Dr Md Khairuzzaman Mozumder as the chief guest was present at the MoU signing ceremony presided over by National Pension Authority Executive Chairman Md Mohiuddin Khan held at the Finance Division Conference Room at Bangladesh Secretariat today.

Md Mohiuddin Khan signed the MoUs on behalf of the National Pension Authority, while the managing directors and CEOs of the 12 banks signed the MoUs on behalf of their sides.

The 12 banks are: AB Bank PLC, Dhaka; Al Arafah Islami Bank PLC, Dhaka; Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC, Dhaka; IFIC Bank PLC, Dhaka; Midland Bank PLC, Dhaka; Modhumoti Bank PLC, Dhaka; National Bank Limited Dhaka; NCC Bank PLC, Dhaka; One Bank PLC, Dhaka; Premier Bank PLC, Dhaka; Southeast Bank PLC, Dhaka; and Trust Bank PLC, Dhaka.
