Actress Nusrat Faria held in Dhaka airport

DHAKA, May 18, 2025 (BSS) - Immigration police this morning arrested popular actress Nusrat Faria from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (HSIA) here while attempting to go to Thailand. 

She was detained from the immigration check post of the airport and was taken to the Detective Branch (DB) of police, police sources said. 

Faria was an accused in an attempted murder case linked to the July uprising filed with Bhatara Police Station on May 3 last, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station Md Mazharul Islam told BSS.
