M Naseemul Hye elected as president of ICSB

DHAKA, June 17, 2025 (BSS) - M Naseemul Hye has been elected as President of 
Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) in its 109th Council 
Meeting held on Monday for the remaining period of the 2022-2025 term of the 
council. 

Prior to this, he was the Senior Vice-president (VP) of the Institute for the 
term 2013-2016, said a press release here today. 

Earlier, he was the Vice-president of the Institute for the term 2010-2013 
and was also its Treasurer for three terms in 2007-2008, 2008-2009 and 2009-
2010, it added.

M Naseemul Hye FCS has been serving as Deputy Managing Director (Chief 
Compliance Officer) of Meghna Cement Mills PLC. Before this, he was the 
Senior Executive Director and Company Secretary of Bashundhara Group. 

He did his graduation and post-graduation in Accounting from the University 
of Dhaka in 1981 and 1982 respectively.

He is also a Member of the Governing Body of ActionAid International 
Bangladesh and currently serves as the Treasurer of the organisation.
