DHAKA, June 26, 2025 (BSS) - European Union Ambassador to Bangladesh Michael Miller today said climate change, impact of new technologies, irresponsible populism and disparity are now the biggest challenges in the world.

"Only the young generation can play a significant role in addressing these crises," he said, addressing an orientation programme of BRAC students at Merul Badda campus.

The envoy urged the students to be curious, ask questions, challenge the social system and respect those who are different from them.

He expressed hope that more students from BRAC University will take up the opportunity to study in European universities under the European Union's international scholarship 'Erasmus' program.

BRAC University Vice-Chancellor Professor Syed Farhat Anwar, among others, was present at the event.
