JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, June 26, 2025 (BSS)- Jahangirnagar University (JU) unit of the Bangladesh Chhatra Union has announced its new committee. 

Outgoing President Alif Mahmud announced the 17-member committee elected in unit’s council held today at the university’s TSC.

Jahidul Islam Emon of Botany Department has been elected as the new president while Tanjim Ahmed of Geography and Environment Department as the general secretary respectively.
 
The other members of the new committee are- Vice Presidents Kaimul Haque, Kawsar Ahmed, and Arna, Joint General Secretaries Akash Ahmed and Aditya, Organizing Secretary Kamrul Hasan Faisal, Treasurer Sultan Mahmud, Office Secretary Sadia Imroz Ila, Education and Research Affairs Secretary Nirab Patwary, Welfare Secretary Medha Chowdhury, and Members Alif Mahmud, Saiful Islam, and Al Araf.
