Certificate award ceremony of BAF Squadron Commanders' course held

DHAKA, June 27, 2025 (BSS) - Assistant Chief of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) Air Vice Marshal Rushad Din Asad today distributed certificates among graduating officers of No 11 Squadron Commanders' Course (SCC).

The closing ceremony of the SCC was held at Bangladesh Air Force Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) at BAF Base Cox's Bazar, according to an Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) release.

Addressing the ceremony as the chief guest, Asad emphasized on command and leadership traits and skills, which would be of immense value in shouldering future assignments. 

He also appreciated the institute for conducting the course successfully, the ISPR release added.

It said Air Vice Marshal A F M Shamimul Islam, Air Officer Commanding of BAF Base Cox's Bazar and Group Captain Abu Saleh Mahmud Mannafi, Officer Commanding of Command and Staff Training Institute (CSTI) received the chief guest.

During the opening address, Officer Commanding, CSTI gave a brief resume on the Training and academic curriculums of No. 11 SCC, the release said. 

The course was designed to provide management and leadership training to the potential Squadron Commanders of BAF.
 
Since inception of SCC in 2009, CSTI is responsible to prepare future leaders of Bangladesh Armed Forces who can serve the nation with dignity and honour. 

Later, the chief guest handed over the certificates to all graduating officers. 

He also attended a photography session with all graduating officers. The closing ceremony was also attended by senior officers of BAF and other guests.
