MTB Mymensingh Div. Tennis meet inaugurated

DHAKA, June 27, 2025 (BSS)-MTB Mymensingh Divisional Tennis competition has been inaugurated at Ramna national tennis complex in the capital today (Friday).

Youth and Sports Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuiyan formally inaugurated the eight-day meet as the chief guest, jointly organized by Bangladesh Tennis Federation (BTF) and Mymensing Club.

Mutual Trust Bank additional managing director Chowdhury Akhter Asif was in the opening ceremony as special guest.

It is mentionable that a total of 337 players from senior 35+, 45+ and 55+ (group A) and open (men's singles, men's doubles, women's singles and women's doubles (group B) from Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan, Police Club, American Club, National Tennis Complex, Dhanmondi Sporting Club, Army Officers Club, Navy Club, International Club, Madaripur Tennis Club, German Club, Brahmanbaria District Sports Association, Masa Tennis Academy, Nordic Club, Pro Tennis Academy Dhaka, Gopalganj Tennis Club, Thakurgaon Station 
Club, Khulna Club, Jhalokati Tennis Club, Advocate Abdus Salam Tennis Complex, Rajshahi, district Tennis Club, Magura, officers Club, Dhaka and various districts of Mymensingh Division.

The draw for the senior and open events of the competition has been also held. The open event will be held at the National Tennis Complex while the senior event will be taken place at the Mymensingh Club tomorrow (Saturday).
