Government working to increase paper production of Karnaphuli Paper Mill:  Adilur

DHAKA, June 27, 2025 (BSS) - Industries Adviser Adilur Rahman Khan today said that the government is working to increase the paper production capacity of Karnaphuli Paper Mills Limited (KPML).
 
He expressed hope that the factory will become a profitable enterprise.
 
The adviser made these remarks as the chief guest in a meeting with KPML officials at the KPML conference room in Kaptai Upazila of Rangamati, said a press release.
 
Adilur said that the country needs a lot of paper, and production should be increased in the country instead of importing paper from abroad. 
 
The development activities of the mill will be started soon, he added.
