ISKCON Bangladesh thanks govt for helping Ratha Yatra's peaceful celebration

DHAKA, June 28, 2025 (BSS) - ISKCON Bangladesh has expressed sincere gratitude and thanks to the interim government, security forces and other government agencies and bodies concerned for their sincere cooperation in the successful celebration of Ratha Yatra of Sri Sri Jagannath Dev, a great religious and cultural event of the Hindu community.

In a press release it said, "Sri Sri Jagannath Dev's Rath Yatra 2025 Successfully Completed - Heartfelt Gratitude and Thanks to All."

“On the occasion of the holy Rath Yatra 2025 of Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladev, Subhadra Maharani and Sudarshan Maharaj, ISKCON Bangladesh is deeply pleased and grateful to announce that this year's Rath Yatra festival was held in an orderly, peaceful and festive atmosphere," it said.

In addition, the cooperation and support provided by various social and political organizations, media from home and abroad, volunteers and above all the general public of the country is truly commendable, it added.
 
It is because of all of your contributions that the Rath Yatra was completed in a safe, beautiful and devotional atmosphere, the release said.

ISKCON Bangladesh is hopeful that such religious and cultural festivals will further strengthen the communal harmony, mutual cooperation and national unity of the country.

"May the Most Gracious Lord Sri Sri Jagannath Dev shower peace, welfare and prosperity in everyone's lives. It is our prayer that Bangladesh becomes a developed and prosperous country," it said.
