DHAKA, June 29, 2025 (BSS)- Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor (VC) Niaz Ahmed Khan today sought cooperation from all quarters including the teachers, students, officials and employees to ensure overall security of the campus.

The VC made this appeal in a meeting with the representatives of the officers and employees associations at his office here today.

Dhaka University Proctor Saifuddin Ahmed, acting register Munshi Shams Uddin Ahamad were present.

The university administration is determined to ensure overall security of the campus ahead of the DUCSU election, said the VC.
 
The concerned officials and employees must have to perform their duties with sincerity and honesty to ensure the security of the campus, he said.

Discussion also was held on forming security coordination committee comprising the representatives of associations and residential areas on the campus.

The meeting decided to take strict punitive action against anybody to be found involve with any subversive activities or give shelter to any perpetrator of the subversive activities.
