EU to support 70,000 Bangladeshis with disabilities

DHAKA, June 30, 2025 (BSS) –  The European Union (EU) will support more than 70,000 individuals with disabilities residing in Mymensingh and Netrokona districts. 
       
“The EU stands for inclusion, diversity, and the rights of people with disabilities in Europe and in our partner countries,” the EU delegation in Dhaka said here today.  

The support will be provided under a new project at ‘Protibondhi Community Centre (PCC)’ in Mymensingh. 

The EU will help strengthen civil societies’ capacity for advocacy and policy dialogue on human rights and a safe environment focusing on people with disabilities and ethnic communities under the endeavor.
