Air Force launches tree plantation campaign

DHAKA, June 30, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) today launched a tree plantation campaign coinciding with the National Tree Plantation Programme-2025 to enrich botanical resources and maintain eco system in the country, an ISPR statement said here today.

It said BAF chief Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan inaugurated the programme by planting saplings at Air Headquarters premises  and added that the air force was observing Tree Plantation Programme-2025 this year with the national slogan 'Porikolpito Bonayon Kori, Sobuj Bangladesh Gori’.

During the event, principal staff officers of Air Headquarters took part in the tree plantation programme by planting different saplings while senior BAF officials were present.

According the ISPR all BAF bases and units are also observing identical programme by planting fruit bearing, ornamental or forestry and medicinal saplings.
