Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner calls on DU pro-vice chancellor

DHAKA, July 9, 2025 (BSS) – Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner to Bangladesh Mohammad Wasif today paid a courtesy call on Pro-Vice Chancellor of the Dhaka University Professor Dr Mamun Ahmed at his office here.

Pakistan High Commission counselor Kamran Dangal was also present during the call on, said a university release here today.

During the call on, they discussed joint education and research programme expansion between the Dhaka University and the different higher education institutes of Pakistan.

Even they also exchanged views on the possibilities of exchange of teachers, students and officials.

The Pakistan Deputy High Commissioner also expressed his interest on participating in diploma course on Bengali language in Dhaka University for increasing experience of the Pakistani diplomats on Bangla language.

Mentioning that a computer lab has been installed at Urdu department of the Dhaka University with the assistance of Pakistan High Commission, the Pakistani diplomat said they want to enhance more such programme.

The DU pro-vice chancellor also thanked the deputy high commissioner for coming to the university and expressing interest to the education and research programme of the university.
