SSC exam pass rate 67.03 pc in Dinajpur Board

RANGPUR, July 10, 2025 (BSS) - An average of 67.03 percent of students passed the SSC examinations 2025 under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE), Dinajpur, according to results published today.

Among the successful candidates, 15,062 students secured GPA-5, including 7,516 male and 7,546 female students.

Compared to last year, both the pass rate and the number of GPA-5 achievers have decreased.

This information was disclosed by BISE Dinajpur Controller of Examinations Professor Mir Sajjad Ali on Thursday afternoon.

A total of 1,82,410 students from 2,782 secondary-level institutions across all eight districts of Rangpur division under the Dinajpur board took part in this year's SSC examinations.

Of them, 1,22,146 students passed. No students passed from 13 schools, while 48 schools recorded a 100 percent pass rate in the division. 

This year, female students outperformed their male counterparts. The pass rate among female students stood at 69.78 percent, while that of male students was 64.38 percent.

Girls also slightly outnumbered boys in achieving GPA-5. Of the total 15,062 GPA-5 achievers, 7,546 were girls and 7,516 were boys.

Last year, the overall pass rate in the Dinajpur Education Board was 78.43 percent and a total of 18,105 students secured GPA-5.
