99.13 percent of students in cadet colleges achieve GPA-5

DHAKA, July 10, 2025 (BSS) - Cadet colleges in Bangladesh have achieved enviable results in the 2025 SSC examination.

In this year's exam, out of a total of 576 candidates from 12 cadet colleges, 571 got GPA-5, a pass rate of 100 percent and a GPA-5 score of 99.13 percent. In the previous year, in the SSC exam of 2024, the GPA-5 score of 12 cadet colleges was 100 percent (99.67 percent).

Cadet Colleges in Bangladesh are residential educational institutions run under the direct supervision of the Adjutant General and President of the Bangladesh Army, Cadet College Governing Council, under the Ministry of Defense, said an ISPR press release here today. 

The goal of cadet colleges is not only to achieve good results, but also to develop cadets as smart and good citizens. 

For this reason, in the daily activities of cadets, equal importance is given to character building and co-curricular activities along with education. 

Behind the continuous success of the cadets of Cadet College is the internal disciplined environment of Cadet College, round-the-clock care and supervision of experienced faculty members, perseverance, regular studies and sincere efforts of the cadets. 

This successful result has been achieved with the sound guidance of the Cadet College Governing Council, the dedicated efforts of the experienced and qualified principals, vice-principals, faculty members, officers and all classes of individuals working in the college and the cooperation of the respected guardians, it said.
