Govt takes plan for quality improvement of primary education: Bidhan

HOBIGANJ, July 13, 2025 (BSS) - Primary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr Bidhan Ranjan Roy Podder has said the present interim government has taken a plan for quality improvement of primary education.

The plans include infrastructure development, bringing back the dropout students to class room, fill up the manpower shortage in schools and imparting training to the teachers, he said adding urgent steps would be taken to resolve the problems.
The adviser said this while talking to journalists following a meeting of views exchange on development of primary education at Hobigonj district administration here today.

Primary and Mass education secretary Abu Taher M Masud Rana spoke on the occasion as the special guest.

Director General of the Primary Education Department Abu Nur Mohammad Shamsuzzaman and senior officials of the district administration and primary education department were present.
