DHAKA, July 14, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Meteorological Department today predicted rain or thundershowers with temporary gusty wind over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am.

"Light to moderate rain/thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind is likely to occur at most places over Rajshahi, Rangpur, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna,Barishal, Chattogram & Sylhet divisions with moderately heavy to very heavy falls at places over Dhaka, Khulna & Barishal divisions," said a Met office bulletin issued this morning.

Day and night temperature may fall by 1-2 degree Celsius over the country, the bulletin said.

The highest temperature on Sunday was recorded 38.5 degree Celsius in Sayedpur under Rangpur Division, while today's minimum temperature was 24 degree Celsius in Tangail.

The sun sets at 6.49pm today and rises at 5.19am tomorrow in the capital.
