The speakers at the event said scholarships are being provided from this fund so that financial hardship does not hinder any student from pursuing their education. They also announced plans to expand this fund further in the future.

Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine said, "We will be able to provide scholarships to more students from next year. We hope that these students who are receiving scholarships will also work to enrich our fund in the future."

The VC said, "Providing scholarships for poor students of the Veterinary
Faculty is a great and commendable initiative. On the model of this fund,
other faculties and district-based student organizations should also be
encouraged to take such initiatives."

In addition, if those who are academically first in each semester can also be brought under the scholarship, then the students will get more encouragement and will increase their interest in good results, he added.
