DUCSU polls officials hold meeting with student representatives

DHAKA, July 14, 2025 (BSS) – As part of the preparation of Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and Hall Sangsad Polls-2025, the returning officials have exchanged views with the student representatives of various department and Institute for second time.

The second round meeting was held at Nabab Nawab Ali Chowdhury Senate Bhaban of the university today.

First round meeting was held on Sunday. 

The student representatives gave their opinions on various aspects including polls preparation, administrative cooperation and security arrangement, and voting process.

They have given various recommendations to ensure the environment of free, fair and peaceful election.

The returning officers assured that they will consider the recommendations of the students with utmost importance and also committed to take all the necessary action to ensure fair environment.

Chief returning officer Professor Dr Mohammad Jashim Uddin of Biology department chaired the second round meeting.

Returning Officer professor Dr Golam Rabbani of Social Welfare  and Research Institute , Professor Dr Quazi Mostak Gausul Huq of information Science and Library Management department , Professor Dr Kazi Maruful Islam of Development Study department and Associate Professor Sharmin Kabir  of the Education and Research Institute were present.
