Filling Station fined Tk 2 lakh in Cumilla

CUMILLA, Aug 4, 2025 (BSS) - A filling station was fined Taka two lakh for 
selling illegal liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Muradnagar upazila of the 
district today. 

A mobile court has fined the owner of M/s Firoza Auto-Gas Filling Station 
Taka two lakh for filling LPG gas in cylinders without any permission and 
marketing it.

A mobile court led by the upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive 
Magistrate Shakib Hasan Khan conducted a drive at M/s Firoza Auto-Gas Filling 
Station in Borarchar area of Chaliakandi union of the upazila this afternoon.

During the drive, Nur Mohammad, the owner of M/s Firoza Auto-Gas Filling 
Station, was fined Taka two lakh for filling and marketing LPG gas in 
cylinders without any permission.
