RANGPUR, Aug 4, 2025 (BSS) - Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur (BRUR) has 
taken up various day-long programs to celebrate 'July Uprising Day-2025' with 
due dignity in a festive atmosphere tomorrow.

The programs of the day will officially start by hoisting the national flag 
at the South Gate of the university's administrative building at 9 am. 

Vice-chancellor Professor of the university Professor Dr Md Showkat Ali will 
lead a colorful rally in the campus and adjoining areas at 9:45 am. 

All teachers, students, officers and employees of all departments, offices 
and sections branches of the university will participate in the rally.
 
Band party and horse-drawn carriage will be the special attractions in the 
rally.
 
After the rally, a friendly game will be organized for teachers, students, 
officers and employees.
 
A dua and milad mehfil will be held at the central mosque of the university 
to seek forgiveness for the souls of the July martyrs at 5:30 pm. 

Fireworks will be displayed at 7 pm and songs, poems and cultural 
performances have been organized to commemorate the July Uprising Day at 7:30 
pm. 

In addition, special food arrangements have been made for students of three 
residential halls on the occasion of the 'July Mass Uprising Day-2025'.
