DHAKA, Nov 6, 2025 (BSS) - Cute 1st Division Men’s Handball League was inaugurated at Bandarban district stadium in Bandarban today (Thursday).

Bandarban hill district Deputy Commissioner and Bandarban district sports association president Shamim Ara Rini inaugurated the meet as the chief guest.

Cute district league handball league coordinator and Bangladesh Handball Federation technical committee’s joint member secretary Sayeed Ahmed and organizing committee’s member secretary Thuising Pru Lubu were also present in the inauguration ceremony which began through organizing a rally.

The rally was inaugurated by Bandarban district additional deputy commissioner Md Hasan.

On the first day of the league, Little Star Club beat Team One by 37-16 goals 
A total of eight teams, split into two groups are taking part in the league, organized by Bangladesh Handball Federation and sponsored by Moushumi Industries Limited.

Grouping:

Group A – Little Star Club, Team One, Young Staar Jubo Sangha and Kalghata GTL Sports Club.
Group B –Jatidut Jubo Sangha, Bandarban Soccer Sports Club, Mro Residential High School and Ujanipara Boys Club.
