BGB seeks public cooperation to prevent circulation of counterfeit currency

DHAKA, Nov 6, 2025 (BSS) – The Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has intensified public awareness campaign alongside strengthened operational activities and enhanced intelligence surveillance along the border areas to prevent the entry and circulation of counterfeit currency notes.

The BGB headquarters in a statement today called upon all citizens to remain vigilant and cooperate by promptly reporting any information related to counterfeit currency production, smuggling, or distribution.
