PATUAKHALI, Nov 6, 2025 (BSS) - A 10-day Bangladesh Small and Cottage 
Industries Corporation (BSCIC) Entrepreneurs Fair 2025 has begun in the 
district with the slogan "Small Industry is not Small, It Grows Day by Day".

District administration and the local office of BSCIC organised the fair at 
Patuakhali DC Square Field this afternoon with Additional Deputy Commissioner 
(ADC-General) Masud Ul Alam in the chair. 

Patuakhali Municipality Administrator and Deputy Director (Deputy Secretary) 
Jewel Rana attended the ceremony as the chief guest while Additional 
Superintendent of Police Apu Saroar and BSCIC General Manager Md. Alamgir 
Shikder joined the event as special guests.

The fair features around 100 stalls showcasing diverse products-- handloom 
sarees, lungis, towels, jute items, pottery and various handicrafts and 
cottage industry products-- from the BSCIC entrepreneurs and enterprises from 
Patuakhali and other districts.

Visitors thronged the fairgrounds as small and medium entrepreneurs displayed 
their locally produced goods, attracting buyers with unique hand-made items.

The fair will remain open to the public every day from 10 am to 8 pm, with 
cultural performances scheduled every evening.
