
GAZIPUR, Nov 6, 2025 (BSS) - The National University (NU) has undertaken a comprehensive initiative to ensure transparency, accountability, and improved quality of education across all its affiliated colleges and educational institutions.
Under the new plan, the NU will observe and evaluate the overall activities of affiliated institutions both online and through on-site inspections.
Each institution has been instructed to prepare and submit its annual work plan and activity report to the university.
According to an official statement, the affiliated colleges must provide information regarding their academic environment, physical infrastructure, management system, governing body meetings (where applicable), teacher-student data, academic and financial activities, audit reports, and compliance with university directives.
The NU will preserve the submitted information in a central data center and regularly monitor and assess the institutions based on those records.
To simplify the data submission process, the College Monitoring and Evaluation Office of the National University has developed a standard information template.
Affiliated institutions can log in to http://collegeportal.nu.ac.bd using their respective college code and password, and fill out the form through the CMES option.
The university authorities have requested all affiliated colleges and educational institutions to submit the completed form by December 3, 2025.
