DHAKA, Aug 10, 2025 (BSS)- The government has withdrawn the Bangladesh Police Medal (BPM) and President Police Medal (PPM) conferred on 40 fugitive police officials.

The Home Ministry has issued gazette notification in this regard today.

All of them are currently absconding and under temporary suspension.

The notification said the financial transaction against the medals on police officers has been stopped and they were asked to refund all the money they received against the medals.
