Youth Hockey Team wins 2nd practice match

DHAKA, Nov 26, 2025 (BSS) - Bangladesh Youth Hockey Team beat Switzerland by 
5-2 goals in their second and final practice match held as a part of 
preparation for Men's FIH Hockey Junior World Cup at Mayor Radhakrishnan 
Hockey Stadium in Chennai, India today (Wednesday).

Bangladesh's drag and flick specialist Amirul struck twice while Hujifa, 
Rocky and Joy supported him with a lone goal each for Bangladesh.

Earlier, Bangladesh defeated Chile by 3-0 goals in their first practice 
match.

Bangladesh have been pitted in Group F in this 24-team global tournament 
along with Australia, South Korea and France.

Bangladesh youth hockey team, who are going to participate in the global 
tournament for the first time, will start their World Cup campaign taking on 
Australia on November 29 at the same venue.
