Dhaka, August 11, 2025 (BSS) - The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education (DSHE) has instructed all educational institutions to submit articles and related information on the martyrs and injured of the 2024 July Uprising by August 20.

This directive was outlined in an official letter signed by Md. Khalid Hossain, Assistant Director (General Administration) of DSHE, and sent to all regional directors and deputy directors of schools and inspection branches.

The instruction follows a letter issued by the Education Ministry's Secondary and Higher Education Division on August 7, which calls for the collection of articles and documents commemorating the July martyrs and those injured during the uprising.

Institutions are required to submit hard copies of the articles to the following address: Badrul Hasan Liton, Joint Secretary, Performance, Innovation and Service Development Branch Education Ministry, DSHE.

In addition, soft copies must be typed in Nix Bangla font (size 14) and emailed to [email protected], with a CC to [email protected].

The submissions should include any relevant news reports, photographs, government gazettes, or other verified evidence published so far. For email submissions, scanned copies of these materials must be attached.

Each article must be accompanied by a certification letter, jointly signed by the institution's head, the most senior teacher, and the chairman of the institution's essay committee.
