IAU Kamil exam results published, pass rate 92.72 percent

DHAKA, Aug 21, 2025 (BSS) – The results of the two-year Kamil (postgraduate) Examination-2023 under the Islamic Arabic University (IAU) have been published, showing a pass rate of 92.72 percent.

IAU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Shamsul Alam officially announced the results today, said a press release.

Earlier, Examination Controller Mohammad Ali handed over the results to the VC.

Pro-VC Professor Dr Mohammad Shahidul Islam, Pro-VC Professor Dr Muhammad Abu Zafar Khan, Treasurer ASM Mamunur Rahman Khalili, Dean of the Curriculum Development and Evaluation Centre Professor Dr Muhammad Shazaat Ullah Farooqui, and Director (Planning and Development) Professor Dr Md Rafiq Al Mamun, among others, were present at the event.

A total of 41,843 candidates appeared in the first and final years, of whom 38,751 passed.

Among them, 280 students achieved A+. The pass rate was 87.83 percent in the first year while 97.61 percent in the final year.

The examinations were held from May 3 to June 26. All information regarding the results is available on the university website www.result.iau.edu.bd
