DHAKA, Sept 3, 2025 (BSS) - The Bangladesh Technical Education Board (BTEB) has taken the initiative to publish a commemorative souvenir in honor of the July Uprising.

The BTEB has called upon its officials and employees to submit written personal or family eyewitness accounts related to the July Uprising.
A notice was issued on the official website of the Technical Education Board today in this regard.

According to the notice, the July Uprising of 2024 marks a significant chapter in the history of democratic movements in Bangladesh. The primary goals of the movement were to establish people's rightful claims, bring an end to fascism, and restore democratic governance.

People from all walks of life, including the general public, students, workers, and professionals, stood united in the movement. As a result, the nation was inspired with renewed consciousness and played a united role in protecting democracy. The July movement is remembered not only as a political turning point but also as a symbol of national unity, said the notice.

The writings should be submitted by September 10 to Engineer B. M. Aminul Islam, Inspector and Convener of the July Uprising Memorial Souvenir 2025 Committee.
