Bhumi Seba Apps to be introduced for digitized land services: Saleh Ahmed

DHAKA, Sept 18, 2025(BSS)-Senior Secretary to the land ministry ASM Saleh Ahmed today said that an integrated 'Bhumi Seba App' would be introduced soon for rendering digitized land services to the people.

"Land is one of the most vital assets for every citizen of the country," he said while presiding over a seminar on 'Preparation of an Integrated App on Land' at the Land Ministry conference room in the Bangladesh Secretariat.

The app will be helpful for all the people as we have very low knowledge on land, the secretary said adding that the land services have been digitized by facing many barriers and varieties. This app would be added more new dimension in the digitized land services of the country, he added.

Referring the positive responses of the land service call centre, the secretary said that the people would have to be digitized to receive digital land services. More features would also be added with the app to make it easier for the common people, he added.

Among others, Additional Secretaries to the land ministry Md Shariful Islam, Md Emdadul Haque Chowdhury and Mohammad Mahfuzur Rahman addressed the seminar, while land service specialists Md Hamidur Rahman and Md Hannan Miah were also present.
