GAZIPUR, Sept 20, 2025 (BSS) - Faiz Ahmad Taiyeb, special Assistant to the
Chief Adviser (CA) for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and
Information Technology (MPT&IT) today said the incumbent government's goal is
to transform the young generation into skilled human resources by equipping
them with ICT knowledge.
"Initiatives are being taken to improve the technology skills of scouts
through various activities, including training, workshops and innovative
exhibitions as well," he told the National ICT Scout jamboree at National
Scout Training Center at Mouchak here.
The Special Assistant said the ICT Department will organize Artificial
Intelligence (AI) and IT skill development training nationwide to build human
resources with AI-based knowledge.
He also put emphasis on the scouts' acquiring ethics, leadership qualities
and service attitude.
The youth with time-befitting knowledge, innovation, exchange of experience
and leadership development, the scouts would become one of the ambassadors of
building a "Smart Bangladesh" in the days to come, Faiz Ahmad hoped.
The CA's special assistant called for the IT's integration with the scout
movement as a unique initiative to develop the young generation into more
skilled, dynamic and world-class citizens.
With the theme "Let Technology be an Aid to Service", this year's jamboree is
being held in September (19-21).
Camp Chief Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha, Abu Saleh Md Mohiuddin Khan,
Additional Deputy Commissioner-ADC (Education and Information Technology)
Sohel Rana, various senior officials of the Scout Movement, trainers, ICT
experts and over one hundred scouts and volunteers from different districts
took part in the programme.
