DHAKA, Sept 24, 2025 (BSS) - Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md. Mahfuj Alam has expressed profound shock and sorrow at the death of Shafiqul Alam, a member of the 18th batch of BCS (Information) cadre and Director of Bangladesh Betar's Central News Organization.

In a condolence message, he conveyed deep sympathy   to the members of the bereaved family and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.

In another message of condolence, Information and Broadcasting Secretary Mahbuba Farjana also expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Shafiqul Alam.

Shafiqul Alam died of a cardiac arrest around 8:30 pm today.
