DHAKA, Sept 26, 2025 (BSS) – With the beauty of autumn in nature, the main rituals of Sharadiya Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the sanatan community, begin on Sunday, the day of Maha Shashti.
The cultural affairs ministry has created the video to greet the sanatal community on the occasion of Durga Puja.
In addition, for the first time in the history of Bangladesh, the 'Sharadiya Cultural Festival 2025' is being organized this year on the occasion of the Durga Puja under the initiative of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs and under the management of the Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy.
The Ministry of Cultural Affairs had previously taken similar initiatives on the occasion of Eid and Buddha Purnima, which is a reflection of the current government's cultural policy aimed at building an 'inclusive Bangladesh' after 2024.
