DHAKA, Oct 11, 2025 (BSS) - Biman Bangladesh Airlines Limited has enforced a strict zero-tolerance policy against all forms of malpractice in its recruitment examination, expelling eleven candidates and filing police cases over cheating, impersonation and use of mobile phones during the written test for the post of Traffic Helper (Casual).

According to a press release issued by the Public Relations Department of Biman today, the written examination was held on October 10 from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at two centers in the capital-BAF Shaheen College, Jahangir Gate, Dhaka Cantonment, and Civil Aviation School and College, Tejgaon.

A total of 11 candidates were expelled-seven from BAF Shaheen College and four from Civil Aviation School and College-for adopting various unfair means during the test.

Biman authorities filed criminal cases at Tejgaon and Kafrul police stations against all eleven individuals. Among them, five were identified as proxy examinees.

At the BAF Shaheen College center, Ismail Hossain took the exam using Nur Mohammad Molla's (Roll 28000091) admit card, Sharmin Nahar sat for the exam using Sharmin Akter's admit card, while Md. Hanif Ali (Roll 28004373) was caught photographing the question paper.

The proxy examinees were detained on the spot, and cases were lodged showing the original candidates as absconding, the release added.

Reaffirming its commitment to transparency, Biman Bangladesh Airlines said it has previously taken legal action against recruitment irregularities and will continue to pursue stringent punitive measures, including filing police cases, against anyone attempting to undermine the integrity of the recruitment process.
