Aftab Hossain Pramanik made BPSC's new member

DHAKA, Oct 14, 2025 (BSS) - The government appointed Aftab Hossain Pramanik, 
former secretary of the Religious Affairs Ministry, as a member of Bangladesh 
Public Service Commission (BPSC) here.

In this regard, the ministry of public administration issued a gazette 
notification signed by its Deputy Secretary Abu Saleh Md Mahfujul Haque on 
Monday.

The new member of the BPSC will remain in his respective post either for the 
next five years or until his turn 65, according to the notification.

With appointing the new member, the total number of the commission members 
rose to 19.
